Despite the UFC 273 main event featherweight title fight being a one-sided affair, both fighters will face the same amount of time on the sideline.
Alexander Volkanovski picked apart Chan Sung Jung through three rounds before referee Herb Dean stopped the fight early in the fourth round to prevent any further damage. The TKO stoppage capped a dominant performance for the champion, who appeared relatively unscathed after the bout, however, he and “The Korean Zombie” will serve the same 14 days under medical suspension.
The Florida State Boxing Commission released the medical suspensions on Wednesday following the pay-per-view event that took place at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Fla. this past Saturday. The commission did not describe the reasons for the suspensions. The list was first reported by MMA Fighting.
