Hall has decided to retire.
The winner of Season 17 of “Ultimate Fighter” said on Twitter early Wednesday morning that he was giving up fighting.
Hall, 38, was a 19-time UFC 185-pound champion.
Hall made his UFC debut on “The Ultimate Fighter” in 2013 and nabbed a few important victories. Adam Cella was knocked out by a spinning wheel kick, which earned him a rematch with Kelvin Gastelum, but he was defeated.
Anderson Silva, Chris Weidman, and Gegard Mousasi are three of the most influential fighters in UFC history, yet Chael Sonnen’s “Ultimate Fighter” coach, Hall, never lived up to his promise.
As a result of his defeats against Sean Strickland and Andre Muniz, the Fortis MMA fighter has announced his retirement. Hall had beaten Bevon Lewis, Antonio Carlos Junior, Silva, and Weidman four times in a row before these losses.
