Paige VanZant can’t make London’s BKFC 27

Unfortunately, Paige VanZant will not be making her in-ring return this coming weekend.

The fight between the two was supposed to take place at Bare Knuckle FC 27, which will take place this coming Saturday in London, but the former UFC star has pulled out. It is not known what led to VanZant’s departure from the band. The fight will now take place on October 15 as previously planned.

This clash was supposed to be VanZant’s first professional appearance in 2022. The 28-year-old was last seen participating in the main event of BKFC 19, which took place in July 2021. There, she was battling against Rachael Ostovich and losing to her by a unanimous decision. VanZant is winless (0-2) in bare-knuckle boxing throughout the course of the two years that have passed since he departed the UFC in 2020.

Her six-year stint in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is partly responsible for the considerable recognition that VanZant currently has. Over the course of 11 fights inside the octagon, she had a record of 6 wins and 5 losses.

VanZant has also competed in professional wrestling, with her first match taking place in the ring for AEW back in May of this year.
