The bout between Moroz and Sijara Eubanks, which was originally set for July, has been postponed until September. Now Moroz won’t be returning until November, and he’ll have to face Maia as a brand-new foe. The article didn’t say whether or not ‘SarJ’ would be facing a new opponent or why the second switch was made.
Maia (19-9-1) is currently riding a two-fight losing streak after suffering unanimous decision defeats at the hands of Manon Fiorot in March and Katlyn Chookagian in January. The 33-year-most old’s recent victory came in July 2021, when she won a unanimous decision over Jessica Eye.
Moroz (11-3) is looking for her fourth consecutive victory after recent victories against Maryia Agapova, Mayra Bueno Silva, and Sabina Mazo. The 30-year-old fighter hasn’t been defeated since losing a unanimous decision to Angela Hill in February of 2018.
According to reports, the fight between Maia and Moroz will take place at UFC Fight Night 215 at a venue yet to be announced by the promotion. Currently, there is no scheduled headliner for Tuesday, November 19.
