LONDON – As a UFC featherweight contender, Jonathan Pearce is making a name for himself.
He earned his first bonus payment at UFC Fight Night 208 in London when he stopped Makwan Amirkhani (17-8 MMA, 7-6 UFC) on Saturday.
His first fight in a foreign country paid off for the 30-year-old rising contender, who stunned The O2 audience with a stoppage victory.
Since dropping back down to featherweight, Pearce has won four consecutive fights.
The Dana White Contender Series alum is now ready to take on some ranked opposition and is happy to have shown off his skills against Amirkhani.
