Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira are scheduled to meet for a second time after a long wait.

The main event of UFC 281, Adesanya vs. Pereira, will take place on Nov. 12 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, the organization announced Friday through broadcast partner ESPN.

For the Nov. 12 pay-per-view, no more fights have been scheduled yet, however, a lightweight match between Dustin Poirier and Michael Chandler is being explored.

Since UFC 276 took place on July 6, the organization has said that this bout would occur.

Both Adesanya and Pereira were victorious in that pay-per-view card.

Adesanya lost a unanimous decision to Pereira at the first meeting in April 2016, a judgment that he contests.
