LAS VEGAS – Billy Goff didn’t care if Dana White psyched the combatants up or not.
On Tuesday, Dana White’s Contender Series 48 opened with a knockout of former CES dual champion Shimon Smotritsky.
It didn’t matter to Goff (8-2), who has a diverse background of results under his belt.
As a result, the motivational speech failed to rouse him.
Whether or not White’s words had an effect on Goff is debatable, but the fact that each of the event’s winners received a UFC contract suggests it did.
