LAS VEGAS – At Dana White’s Contender Series 47, Joe Pyfer had a chance to make amends with Dana White. In the main event on Tuesday, Pyfer (9-2) defeated Ozzy Diaz by unanimous decision to win a contract with the UFC.
The only other combatant to sign a contract was him.
To make good on his second chance at the Contender Series, Dustin Stoltzfus, who lost his first three octagon fights after beating Pyfer to secure his UFC contract, took on the 25-year-old.
He made his UFC debut earlier this month by defeating Dwight Grant at UFC on ABC 3 and has been scheduled to take on Abusupiyan Magomedov in Paris on September 3.
