In October, two rising middleweights will face each other.
On October 29th, at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Roman Dolidze (10-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC) will face Phil Hawes (12-3 MMA, 4-1 UFC) in a UFC Fight Night event.
Because the promotion has not made an official announcement, MMA Junkie was told of the booking by two unnamed sources.
Since moving down to 185 pounds, Dolidze has a 2-1 record.
The Georgian boxer won three straight bouts after losing to Trevin Giles in March 2021, defeating Laureano Staropoli and then knocking out Kyle Daukaus in June for a Performance of the Night knockout.
Including this newcomer, the updated roster for the Oct. 29 UFC show now reads:
